Since 1984, the J. R. Hudson Company, Inc. has provided professional installation of all types of custom window fashions. Based out of Bloomington, Minnesota, we cover all of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Illinois. We have worked in Chattanooga, TN and Pompano Beach, FL.

The core of our business is a commitment to “Installations of Excellence”. We provide the finest window fashion installations with outstanding customer service. We never stop trying to refine our customer interaction skills as well as our technical skills. We believe being courteous and personable with the customer is of equal importance to technical proficiency. We never forget that we are typically the last contact your customer will have with you till they purchase more product and our goal is to make sure it is a positive impression.

Another of our core values is flexibility. We pride ourselves on being able to accommodate any situation. We install any product promptly and professionally or, if you prefer, we will measure order and receive the product as well. We maintain accounts with a number of distributors and manufacturers so we can be your link to any products that your customers may need or want. Our goal is to provide as much or as little service as required to make you successful.

We are proficient in all types of installations but specialize in custom wood shutters, motorized products and “hard“ treatments such as vertical blinds, roller shades, cellular shades, etc. from all manufacturers.

Ray Hudson, Founder and President, has trained other installers at many locations and has served on the Hunter Douglas Advisory Board for Heritance® and New Style® shutters. Both Ray and Jason are Hunter Douglas Certified Professional Installers. We are proficient at finding solutions for irregular, out-of-square, or specialty shaped windows. We also provide service and repair for most products.
